In most hotel fit-out projects in Egypt, the owner signs with a fit-out contractor, and the contractor farms the doors, rooms and joinery out to subcontracted workshops — and every interface between two workshops becomes a source of delay and mismatch. Hammer works differently: we are a manufacturer that does the fit-out. Doors from the door factory, guest rooms from the panel factory, loose furniture and metal structures from Factory 03 — all from one site at Abu Rawash, all installed by our own teams.
We delivered the full lobby renovation and FF&E of The V in Sahl Hasheesh, more than 2,000 hotel rooms for Flow, Pyramisa and Sunset Pearl, and door programmes in the thousands for Emaar Misr and Innovo.
What a hospitality fit-out contract covers
- Engineering — site survey, shop drawings from the designer's drawings, CNC programmes and a mock-up room for sign-off.
- Guest rooms — fixed and loose furniture, doors, wall cladding and bathroom units as one set.
- Public areas — lobby, reception, corridors, ballroom and meeting rooms: cladding, joinery, doors and furniture.
- Restaurants and bars — bar, buffet and station joinery, banquettes and loose furniture.
- Spa, gym and outdoor — changing-room joinery, timber decking, pergolas, beach cabins and metal structures.
- Installation and handover — own installation teams, phased floor-by-floor delivery and ISO 9001 inspection before handover.
Renovating operating hotels
Renovation is where the difference between a fit-out contractor with a factory and one without shows. We survey the existing rooms, pre-manufacture furniture, doors and cladding at Abu Rawash, then close one floor at a time and install it in days. The hotel keeps trading, and lost revenue is measured in days rather than months.
