A dedicated solid-wood factory, not a side department.
Loose furniture — the chair pulled out a thousand times in a restaurant, the table wiped every hour, the armchair in the room — is the part of a hotel that fails first when it is made badly. That is why Hammer dedicated Factory 03 entirely to solid wood and metal: Bacci machining centres for precise solid-wood shaping, an SCM line for joinery and turning, an in-house metal shop for frames and bases, and in-house upholstery. Since 2020 we have shipped more than 20,000 loose furniture pieces to hotels, restaurants and developers in Egypt.
Pieces are made in the hundreds to the same tolerance: CNC templates for components, engineered mortise-and-tenon joints and finishing on the Cefla line — so chair number 400 matches the prototype.
What Factory 03 manufactures
- Dining and restaurant chairs — solid wood with timber or upholstered seats, to the project's design or from our collections (Ginko, Kemet).
- Armchairs and sofas — upholstered solid-wood or metal frames for hotel rooms and lounges (Stony, Kopa, Bando).
- Tables — dining, coffee and side tables with solid-wood, veneer or stone tops on timber or metal bases.
- Banquettes and bar stools — fixed seating and bar stools for restaurants and cafés.
- Outdoor furniture — pool loungers, outdoor tables and sofas in teak or treated timbers on metal frames.
- Bespoke pieces — parametric benches, CNC-sculpted pieces and furniture to a bespoke design.
Within a hotel programme or on its own
Loose furniture is usually manufactured as part of a complete room programme or hotel fit-out — so the room's armchair leaves in the same veneer as the wardrobe. But we also supply loose furniture on its own to restaurants, cafés, offices and developers, from an approved sample or prototype. Send us drawings or reference images and we will return a prototype and a quantity price.
